“The cinema is truth twenty-four times per second“
Does the cinema tells the truth ? Raphaël George tries to differentiate the true from the real in his documentary “Le Syndrome de Paris”. By shooting authentic japanese tourists in the street of the french capital and on the basis of proved medical symptoms, he paints a satirical picture of the parisian tourism through fake interviews and translations. The cinema and by extension the documentary create both a truth from the reality. This documentary is a demonstration of the attention that we should give to the edition of each movie.
